Pakistan’s surveillance system was dismantled by border forces. Amit Shah, piece by piece

Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised the Border Security Force (BSF) for its strong and determined response to Pakistani aggression earlier this month during his maiden trip to Jammu and Kashmir since the recent Operation Sindoor.

Speaking at Poonch, Shah emphasized that the retaliatory action along the Jammu frontier had destroyed or damaged over 118 enemy posts, which was a noteworthy accomplishment for the BSF in only three days of operation.

He emphasized that Pakistan’s monitoring network had been methodically destroyed by BSF men, dealing the enemy a blow so severe that it would take them four to five years to reconstruct such vital infrastructure.

Pakistan experienced the biggest blow to its communication and surveillance infrastructure, which would now prevent them from conducting information-based warfare for a long time, Shah said, citing intelligence released by the BSF Director General.

Amit Shah praised the BSF’s readiness and intelligence capabilities, pointing out that even in periods of comparatively calm conditions, the force kept close watch and collected accurate intelligence, which allowed them to develop successful counterstrategies well in advance.

The BSF successfully carried out these plans when the time came, demonstrating not only operational preparedness but also a great deal of devotion and patriotism. This accomplishment, according to Shah, is a testament to the BSF’s pride in the country, strong sense of patriotism, and readiness to make the ultimate sacrifices for its security.

As India’s first line of defense, the BSF operates in a variety of difficult terrains, including deserts, mountains, woods, and rocky environments, as the Home Minister emphasized. He made the point that BSF members always encounter the first acts of aggression on the country’s borders, whether they are planned or unplanned, covert or overt, but they carry out their responsibilities without hesitation.

Along with discussing his personal resolve to meet the BSF Jawans and share the sorrow of impacted people, especially those from gurudwaras, temples, mosques, and other communities harmed by Pakistani shelling, Shah also discussed his personal commitment to travel to Poonch in spite of unfavorable weather circumstances.

In his closing remarks, Amit Shah thanked the BSF soldiers on behalf of the Indian government and people. He claimed that the BSF is as well-liked by the country as the Indian Army, which is a huge source of pride for everyone. Shah reaffirmed that the bravery and selflessness of BSF Jawans have won praise from all throughout the country and serve as a potent representation of India’s unwavering will to defend its independence and guarantee the safety of its citizens.
