The Jammu and Kashmir Government has begun providing the Kashmiri Pandits with several such transit accommodations in a number of Kashmir Valley areas.

These apartments will house Kashmiri Pandits who are employed by the Prime Minister’s Reconstruction Plan (PMRP).

For the migratory Kashmiri Pandits, we have opened a 930 flat-style transit facility. Land was previously unavailable for the development of apartments for the migratory Kashmiri Pandits. Manoj Sinha, the lieutenant governor of Jammu & Kashmir, stated that the majority of migrant KP personnel employed by PMRP are from Srinagar.

In various Kashmir Valley areas, the Jammu and Kashmir government has begun providing numerous such transit accommodations for Kashmiri Pandits. According to the government, these facilities are there to ensure the safety and protection of the Kashmiri Pandits. In numerous areas of the Kashmir Valley, we have started projects of a similar nature. Manoj Sinha, the lieutenant governor of Jammu and Kashmir, stated that security concerns and protective measures for KPs have been effectively taken care of.

Sinha added that the Public Service Commission (PSC) has been tasked with converting non-gazetted migrant KP jobs into gazetted cadres in order to facilitate promotions.
