On July 14, 2023, Chandrayaan-3 is launched by ISRO’s Launch Vehicle Mark-III (LVM-3) M4 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.

On Wednesday, TATA Steel announced that it has produced the crane utilised in the Chandrayaan-3 mission’s successful launch of the LVM3-M4 rocket, called “Fat Boy.”

It stated that the crane was produced in Jamshedpur’s TATA Growth Shop.

We delivered the Electric Overhead Travelling (EOT) crane that was placed at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, the statement read. “Our cutting-edge crane technology played a crucial role.”

“Through our contribution to the launch… we reaffirm our commitment to fostering India’s technological advancement and growth,” it said.
