A SMARTPHONE AND SPY CAMERA WERE FOUND IN KHALISTANI SEPARATIST AMRITPAL SINGH’S JAIL CELL

In the highly secured Dibrugarh Central Jail in Assam, where Khalistani sympathiser and Waris Punjab De head Amritpal Singh along with nine of his colleagues are being held, a significant security breach was discovered in the National Security Act (NSA) cell.

The jail staff found a smartphone with a SIM card, a keypad phone, a TV remote with a keyboard, pen drives, a spy cam pen, Bluetooth headphones and speakers, and a smartwatch during a search on Saturday.

According to Director General of Police GP Singh, after learning of unlawful activity occurring in the NSA cell, the police put more CCTV cameras in the public areas of the NSA Block.

He remarked, “Inputs received, confirmed unauthorised activities,” and added that the correctional officials had taken possession of the recovered things.
