Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari visited the expo and spoke with the participating enterprises to raise awareness of the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) future requirements for self-reliance in accordance with the Government of India’s “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” vision.

During the exhibition, the IAF displayed its indigenous capabilities with a static display of the new generation Advanced Light Helicopter MK-IV and Light Combat Helicopter, as well as the Aakash and SAMAR missile systems. The IAF stand featured products created by its own agencies in partnership with private industry partners.

The IAF also set up a publicity stall during the event to attract young people. The Induction Publicity and Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) was stationed at the site to provide a near-real-life depiction of the IAF’s various functions and activities. The PR campaign benefited participating students from various educational institutions who were interested in learning about the various aspects of IAF as well as the various opportunities available in the IAF for a successful career. There were also
