India has been referred to by the Biden Administration as a crucial partner of the United States’ choosing.

This declaration was made prior to National Security Advisor Ajit Doval’s crucial visit to meet with the highest levels of American leadership, including his counterpart Jake Sullivan.

Vedant Patel, the deputy spokesperson for the State Department, stated to reporters on Thursday that “trade cooperation is one of the many areas in which India is a key partner of choice for the United States.”

He continued, “Of course, security cooperation is included. Cooperation in technology is also a part of it. I don’t want to begin the process too soon or anticipate any specific meetings that might be scheduled.

Of course, Patel said, “This [India-US relations] is of great importance to us.”

Patel continued by saying that the US was keeping a close eye on the situation regarding the border clashes between China and India and that it was relieved that at least in December, both countries seemed to have disengaged.

We are pleased to learn that both sides (China and India) appeared to have disengaged in December despite the fact that we are closely monitoring the situation in general regarding border clashes. Patel.

Patel said that Washington is relieved that things are calm on both sides in response to a question from the media during the regular briefing.

Taranjit Singh Sandhu, India’s ambassador to the US, had earlier stated that the United States had been an important ally for India during its transformational journey.

Along with members of the local community in and around the US capital, Sandhu celebrated Republic Day alongside Indian American Congressmen Ro Khanna and Thanedar.

According to the Ambassador, “the global comprehensive strategic partnership between India and the United States has continued to deepen, spanning almost all spheres of human endeavour, driven by shared democratic values, convergence of interests, on a variety of issues, and vibrant, people to people contacts.”

“Our two countries are gaining from one another’s exchanges in a variety of fields, such as healthcare, renewable energy, security, education, and technology, which is helping to put Prime Minister Modi and Vice President Biden’s vision into practise. In order to become a force for good on a global scale, our interactions with partners in Quad have expanded to include supply chains, infrastructure, climate action, and space cooperation, according to Sandhu.

Ned Price, a spokesman for the US State Department, had earlier stated, “I’m not familiar with the documentary you’re referring to, but I’m very familiar with the shared values that enact the United States and India as two thriving and vibrant democracies,” in response to a question about the contentious BBC documentary.

Price stated that there are many factors, including political, economic, and extraordinarily close people-to-people ties, that support the US’ global strategic partnership with India.
