COPS SAY THE FOUND MISSING KASHMIR SOLDIER WILL BE INTERROGATED

An Army soldier who went missing in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, last week has been located, according to authorities in Srinagar.

After undergoing a medical examination, rifleman Javed Ahmad of the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry unit would undergo questioning, they added.

The Kulgam Police have found the missing Army Jawan. The joint interrogation will begin soon after the medical examination. ADGP Kashmir, according to a tweet from Kashmir Zone Police.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the Armyman’s disappearance on July 29, which led to extensive security force searches.

The 25-year-old soldier was reported missing after leaving his home to get some groceries from the market. He was on vacation and will return to work in a few days. He was driving an Alto, which was located close to the market.

The soldier’s family had made a request that the kidnappers release him securely because it was thought that terrorists may have kidnapped him.
