According to J-K Police sources, terrorists are preparing Fedayeen (suicide) strikes against security forces in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 48 to 72 hours. As a result, the area has been placed on high alert. The troops obtained the inputs from “reliable sources.” According to them, terrorists are preparing suicide strikes against military installations or camps in the Rajouri and Jammu districts’ Sunderbani, Nowshera, Lamberi, Akhnoor, and Domana areas.

According to credible sources cited in J&KP PCR reports, terrorists are plotting suicide attacks on military installations and security forces, especially in the areas of Rajouri and Jammu districts that are Sunderbani, Nowshera, Lamberi, Akhnoor, and Domana. These assaults are expected to occur within the next 48 to 72 hours.

Lower formations have received a warning to remain alert.


In a separate act of terror, terrorists targeted a Kathua home. In a different incident that happened on Tuesday night, militants attacked the Army’s Temporary Operating Base (TOB) in the Chattargalla region on the Bhaderwah Bani route in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in at least six soldiers being injured. On Wednesday, near Kota Top in the Gandoh subdivision of the Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, there was another run-in between terrorists and security personnel. Reports state that one Special Operations Group (SOG) officer was hurt. This is the second confrontation in the Doda area of the Jammu division since yesterday, and the fourth one in the Union Territory in the last three days.
