Lenain declared that his nation is dedicated to providing the best technologies to the Indian armed forces without limitations. Lenain responded, “The bilateral ties between India and France are exceptionally good and trustworthy,” when asked about the two nations’ relations.

According to French Ambassador Emmanuel Lenain, his nation wants to collaborate with India to establish a national industrial base for the defence sector. Lenain stated that the two nations can jointly produce a large amount of equipment for the defence and space sectors while speaking to reporters on board the French aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle on Saturday while it was participating in the Indo-French naval exercise “Varuna” off the coast of Goa.

He stated that France is dedicated to providing the best technologies to the Indian forces without limitations.

Lenain claimed that France had fully embraced “Aatmanirbhar Bharat’s” vision (self-reliant India).

“Since we are a highly independent nation and have gone through that process as well, we also understand that. We want to work with India to establish a national industrial base for the defence sector “said he.

France is a fantastic choice for India to consider when trying to diversify its suppliers, the envoy said.

Lenain declared that his nation is dedicated to providing the best technologies to the Indian armed forces without limitations.

He declared that France would “come forward to co-develop and co-produce equipment” in addition to supporting “make in India.”

Lenain responded, “The bilateral ties between India and France are exceptionally good and trustworthy,” when asked about the two nations’ relations.

“We share similar ideals. By working together, we can best assert our strategic autonomy. The two nations can jointly produce a variety of equipment for the space and defence industries “said Lenain.

On Friday, the Indo-French naval exercise that got under way here on January 16 came to an end.

An earlier statement made by a French Navy official noted that the extensive training exercises being conducted by ships, frigates, helicopters, and a French command and replenishment ship demonstrate the outstanding Indo-French naval cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.

The joint exercise’s goal, according to the official, was to get the two nations’ crews ready to take on a variety of challenges while mobilising their anti-surface, anti-submarine, and anti-aircraft assets as well as sharing control of the air-sea environment and ship control.
