PM Narendra Modi recently made a four-day State visit to the US. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met prominent CEOs from both India and the US while he was in the country. He arrived at the White House to a formal welcome and guard of honours.

He attended a state dinner at the White House hosted by US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, as well as a state luncheon hosted by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and US Vice President Kamala Harris. In his parting speech, PM Modi compared his interactions with the Indian diaspora to a “sweet dish” as they were taking place at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC.

PM Modi spoke at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) in Washington, DC, as part of his tour. He claimed that over the previous two years, American businesses have made almost USD 16 billion in investments in India.

According to PM Modi, “We have continually increased Capex while controlling the fiscal deficit. Exports and foreign exchange are rising. Additionally, we are adding fresh records to the FDI. In India over the past two years, American businesses have invested almost USD 16 billion.The prime minister noted that Indian businesses are expanding internationally and have made significant investments in the United States. America’s young and farmers stand to gain from all of this. This alliance between India and America is in the best interests of both nations and their populations.

“The American and Indian administrations have already laid the groundwork for you. While we will continue to take all required steps in this direction, it is now your duty to play freely and allow yourself to grow on this field since everyone who participates in play will flourish. I have no doubt that you won’t give yourself a chance, remarked PM Modi.

He remarked, “I can confidently say that this partnership is not just of convenience but of conviction, of compassion, and of shared commitment for a better future,” when speaking at the US-India Strategic cooperation Forum (USISPF) event. You are the cornerstone of this cooperation.

Addressing the Indian diaspora, he noted that the Americans and Indians who make up this cooperation are its cornerstone.The enormous, cross-party support for India in the US is another feature of this alliance, according to PM Modi.
