In a meeting to discuss Iran’s attacks against Israel, US President Joe Biden referred to the national security team’s commitment to Israel’s security against threats from Iran and its proxies as “ironclad.”

Following last night’s Iranian drone attacks on Israel, US President Biden convened with his national security staff.

However, a defence official told reporters on Sunday that US forces have been shooting down Iranian drones that are aimed towards Israel.

“US forces in the area continue to shoot down Iranian-launched missiles in line with our unwavering commitment to Israel’s security.”

“Our forces remain postured to provide additional defensive support and to protect US forces operating in the region,” he stated.
