MKU Unveils Kavro Doma 360 Ultra and Announces Foray Into Ballistic Ceramics With Kavro Kiro’X

Global defense and homeland security firm MKU showcased the Kavro Doma 360 Ultra Helmet with Kavro Kiro’X Ballistic Ceramics at Milipol Paris 2025. When taken as a whole, they represent a major advancement in MKU’s continuous goal to provide modern forces with mission advantage, survivability, and confidence.

Today’s protective systems must provide an unparalleled combination of low weight, high hardness, multi-hit resilience, and thermal stability due to the rapid evolution of modern threats, which range from high-velocity to armor-piercing and multi-impact engagements.

Kiro’X Ballistic Ceramics, MKU’s venture into cutting-edge ceramic engineering, is at the center of this performance, changing the performance standards for hard armor in both platform and personal protection.

Kiro’X is designed to provide an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio by combining cutting-edge ceramic composites with exclusive manufacturing processes that improve ballistic performance while lowering load. Kiro’X is designed for ultra-hardness, lightweight design, and better multi-hit capabilities, building on the tradition of Kavro’s Kiroshield and Kirosoft armor technologies and motivated by kinetic threat reduction. By providing outstanding energy absorption, the Kiro’X line lowers the likelihood of secondary injuries and back-face signature.

Kiro’X is unique because of its precision production and next-generation materials science. The ceramics are designed to prevent the spread of cracks, retain their integrity in the face of repeated blows, and withstand thermal shock at extremely high and low temperatures. Kiro’X guarantees lighter armor plates and panels without sacrificing performance by attaining ultra-high hardness at lower densities.

To meet a variety of operational needs, the Kiro’X series is available in three different configurations:

Performance and cost-effectiveness for scalable deployments; improved energy absorption and multi-hit toughness; and ultra-lightweight, elite-grade defense against armor-piercing and high-velocity attacks.

Kiro’X solutions are made to be versatile and can be used for both modern infantry and strategic defense systems. They can be used for hard armor plates, helmets, shields, and platform armoring for vehicles, aircraft, and naval assets.

Additionally, MKU debuted the Kavro Doma 360 Ultra, an expanded version of its well-known Kavro Doma 360 helmet line, which was initially unveiled at Milipol 2023. The Doma 360 Ultra maintains NIJ Level III ballistic performance and all-around rifle-rated protection with an add-on appliqué armour shield on the front that provides improved protection against armour-piercing projectiles.

Speaking at the event, MKU Vice President of International Sales Karan Gupta stated: “MKU’s focus has always been on empowering our heroes with protection they can trust, no matter how threats evolve.” We’re launching a new materials capability with Kavro Kiro’X that not only expands our product line but also raises the bar for ballistic protection performance and survivability. Additionally, we’re advancing soldier protection with Kavro Doma 360 Ultra, guaranteeing that our troops remain one step ahead on every battlefield.

Both Kiro’X and Doma 360 Ultra embody MKU’s unrelenting aim to empower heroes with protection that instills confidence and performance that defines resilience, symbolizing the company’s ongoing quest for innovation.
