NIBE LIMITED ESTABLISHES A CUTTING-EDGE PLANT TO PROMOTE INDIA DEFENCE COMPONENT MANUFACTURING

Nibe Limited made a significant advancement in strengthening domestic military production capabilities today by launching its newest, state-of-the-art plant in Pune.

The recently opened 2,50,000 square metre complex is outfitted with state-of-the-art machinery and technology, and it has the potential to completely transform the way that defence industry key systems are produced.

Nibe Limited is committed to innovation and excellence, with the goal of satisfying the changing needs of the defence sector and advancing the government’s objective of an independent India in the defence sector.

Ajay Bhatt, India’s Minister of State for military, Admiral Radhakrishnan Hari Kumar, the Chief of the Naval Staff, and Uday Samant, the Maharashtra Minister for Industries, attended the inauguration ceremony, which was a major turning point in the country’s efforts to become self-sufficient in military manufacture.

The state-of-the-art equipment at the new manufacturing facility includes sophisticated 16- and 12-meter-long vertical machining centres (VMCs), a specialised welding training centre with a wide range of metallurgical topics, and proficiency with automated welding methods.

With the highest standards of quality and dependability, Nibe Limited is able to manufacture a wide range of essential defence components with proficiency thanks to these skills.

The state-of-the-art facility will make it easier to produce a range of defence products, such as modular bridging systems for the Army, structural systems for Naval applications, and heavy engineering structures for Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM) ARMY and MRSAM AIR FORCE.
