Boeing has awarded a long-term Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Bangalore-based aerospace manufacturer Rossell Techsys for the manufacture of electrical panel assemblies for the T-7A Red Hawk advanced pilot training aircraft.
Up to 1,200 shipsets of these assemblies may be supplied by Rossell Techsys under the terms of the contract till 2033. Their previous successful collaboration with Boeing on a comparable contract for wire harness assemblies for the T-7A Red Hawk platform is built upon by this milestone.
Since the T-7A Red Hawk program’s inception, Rossell Techsys has been involved in its engineering, manufacturing, and flight test stages, demonstrating a close and extensive partnership. The T-7A Red Hawk is a cutting-edge, fully digitally designed and tested training aircraft that uses digital fly-by-wire control systems and sophisticated electronics to get pilots ready for next-generation fighter jets.
With Rossell regularly delivering more than 1,60,000 vital aerospace parts, the company’s cooperation with Boeing spans multiple important defense platforms, including the F/A-18 Super Hornet, F-15 Eagle, AH-64 Apache, CH-47 Chinook, V-22 Osprey, P-8 Poseidon, and KC-46 Pegasus. Having won two Boeing “Supplier of the Year” honors, this further solidifies their standing as a reliable worldwide aerospace supplier.
Supported by the growing Boeing collaboration, Rossell Techsys has demonstrated notable development and increased profitability in its financial operations, citing a nearly twofold increase in revenue and a recent turnaround from net losses to net profits.
This contract strengthens the long-standing partnership that started in 2013, establishing India and Rossell Techsys as leading centers for aerospace manufacturing excellence, stressed Managing Director Rishab Gupta.
In addition to helping Rossell Techsys, this deal highlights India’s growing contribution to the global aerospace supply chain, which will support the company’s future expansion prospects in foreign aerospace and defense industries. Consistent production through 2033 guarantees sustained involvement and strengthened industrial cooperation with Boeing on vital aerospace initiatives.
A major accomplishment in aircraft manufacturing, Rossell Techsys’s most recent Boeing contract to supply electrical panel assemblies for the T-7A Red Hawk through 2033 solidifies its strategic industry position, technological capability, and global export presence.
The interaction highlights India’s growing reputation as a top location for defense technology collaborations and aerospace manufacture.
