In a phone call with Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed New Delhi’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the India-Qatar Strategic Partnership during a period of increased regional tensions.
During their evaluation of the partnership’s accomplishments, both presidents highlighted notable developments in a number of areas, including trade, investment, energy security, and defense cooperation. In order to maintain the strong growth of bilateral ties between New Delhi and Doha, the discussion underlined their shared intention to strengthen collaboration in a variety of areas of common interest.
