THE CHIEF OF IAF VISITS MALAYSIA
The Chief of Air Staff’s (CAS) visit, according to the Indian Air Force, is intended to explore areas of common interest and collaboration with senior members of the Malaysian armed services.
“Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari, the CAS, is in Malaysia on a formal bilateral visit. He will meet with a number of Malaysian Armed Forces officials during his tour, and they will talk about areas of shared interest and collaboration, the IAF tweeted.
Malaysia is one of a select few nations that has expressed a strong interest in purchasing the TEJAS aircraft that India built on its own.
TEJAS is a single-engine, multi-role fighter capable of flying in dangerous airspace.
