The historic first rocket launch from Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, is accomplished by ISRO.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched its first rocket from Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday, marking an important milestone. According to officials, this event, which was conducted in partnership with Thrust Tech India Limited, is the first time a payload has been launched from Uttar Pradesh territory using a rocket.

The rocket reached a height of 1.1 kilometers at exactly 5:14:33 p.m. The sequence, as described by ISRO scientist Abhishek Singh, involved the rocket launching a tiny satellite (payload) at its zenith and then descending until it was only five meters above the ground. The satellite made a safe landing within 400 meters after a parachute system went into action. Additionally, the 15-kilogram rocket made a safe descent.

This successful test is a precursor to a much larger event that will take place in October and November and involve testing about 900 satellites that were built by young people. The program seeks to encourage children and young people in the area and the nation as a whole to become interested in space technology.

The motor test’s success was confirmed by Vinod Kumar, Director of Thrust Tech India, who also underlined the event’s motivational and educational objectives. This launch was the first in Uttar Pradesh to launch a satellite directly into the atmosphere using a rocket, in contrast to earlier tests in Ahmedabad that used drones. This showed the region’s increasing space technology capabilities.

This accomplishment not only demonstrates ISRO’s dedication to growing its launch operations into new areas, but it also represents a critical step in involving the next generation in India’s quickly developing space industry.
