The Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL), a subdivision of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has constructed a model exhibition arena (NSTL Trident) that is one of its kind in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Visakhapatnam: The Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL), a subdivision of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has constructed a model exhibition arena (NSTL Trident) that is unique to the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The Trident was created by NSTL scientists, officials, and staff and was first displayed to the public on the eve of National Science Day.

Trident’s goal is to raise patriotic awareness among students, employees, and the general public by using scale-down models to promote various products.

The Director General (NS&M), Dr. Y.Sreenivas Rao, unveiled the trident in the presence of the Director, NSTL, and GVMC zonal commissioner.

The Director General underlined the need of raising awareness about such world-class systems built indigenously, and he encouraged students to take on tough scientific professions to help the country become self-sufficient in essential technologies.

Director Dr. Abraham Varughese, S. Madhu Kran, and GVMC Zonal Commissioner Hymavathi were present.
