The strong connection between the United States and India was highlighted in a statement by Vedant Patel, the Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. State Department.
“Our relationship with our Indian colleagues is really close. Of course, there are a number of those, including trade, security, and, of course, consular concerns like visas. That meeting with External Affairs Minister Jaishankar was read aloud. We continue to look forward to working with India in this administration, as they have been a major partner in the Indo-Pacific on many common problems throughout our time in the Biden administration,” he said.
He pointed out that this cooperation covers a number of areas, such as trade, consular issues, and security. Patel emphasized that during the previous four years, the Biden administration has made a concerted effort to strengthen this connection, acknowledging India as an essential regional and international partner.
Patel’s comments coincide with continued initiatives to strengthen bilateral cooperation, especially in fields pertaining to technological breakthroughs and Indo-Pacific stability. India is seen by the United States as a vital ally in tackling security issues and promoting regional economic expansion.
“When we collaborate, the US and India are more powerful. I met with Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today in Italy to talk about how crucial it is that we continue to work closely together to advance world security and prosperity.
