Dates are being worked out for PM Modi’s early visit to the United States, according to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.

The dates of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s next visit to the United States are being finalized, according to confirmation from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The two countries’ all-encompassing global strategic cooperation is expected to be strengthened by this visit.

Modi is expected to travel sometime in February 2025, however exact dates have not yet been disclosed. February 14–15 have been suggested as possible dates for the meeting with US President Donald Trump.

This declaration comes after Modi and Trump had a fruitful phone chat on January 27 in which they talked about a range of bilateral topics, such as trade, defense cooperation, and immigration challenges. Trump underlined that India must expand its purchases of security equipment manufactured in the United States.

The leaders reiterated their dedication to strengthening their strategic alliance and tackling regional security concerns in Europe, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific.

Since Modi’s visit will be one of the first high-level gatherings after Trump’s reelection, it will be a landmark event in U.S.-Indian ties.

Both leaders voiced hope for their partnership, with Modi emphasizing their shared dedication to world peace and prosperity.
