GSLV-F14/INSAT-3DS MISSION COUNTDOWN TO BEGINS TOMORROW

The countdown to the launch of INSAT-3DS, an observatory and disaster alert satellite, utilising ISRO’s largest rocket, Geo Synchronous, on Saturday night

The launch, which was originally planned to occur tomorrow at 1730 hours, has been rescheduled by five minutes, and it will now occur at 1735 hours from the Second Launch Pad. ISRO published “GSLV-F14/INSAT-3DS” in X. Mission: The launch is currently planned for Saturday at 17:35 hours.

ISRO stated that the goal of the 16th flight of the GSLV is to launch the 2,274 kg INSAT-3DS, a satellite for weather and catastrophe alerts. “The mission is fully funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES). @moesgoi #INSAT3DS” , read the tweet.

The countdown will start when this significant mission is approved by the Launch Authorization Board and the Mission Readiness Review Committee.
