Three of India’s citizens have disappeared in Iran, posing a worrying problem for the country right now. Shortly after arriving in the country, these individuals, who were on a business trip, lost contact. According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), it is aggressively looking for Iranian officials to help find them.
According to reports, the three Indian nationals went to Iran for business. Soon after their arrival, their family got concerned when they were unable to communicate.
According to MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, the Indian government has strongly objected to the situation with Tehran. To aid in the search for the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi and the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran, the MEA is in contact with both institutions.
Similar attempts by the Indian government to communicate with Russian authorities have been prompted by reports of 16 other Indian individuals going missing in Russia, making this episode part of a broader problem.
The Indian government is dedicated to finding a quick solution to this issue and protecting its nationals overseas.
