On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, between 3:00 and 3:01 pm IST, Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and the Axiom-4 crew are scheduled to make their splash landing in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California. At around 4:45 p.m. IST on Monday, July 14, the SpaceX Dragon capsule, “Grace,” disembarked from the ISS.

On July 15, approximately one hour prior to the anticipated landing, live coverage of the splashdown will start on the Axiom Space website at 2:00 pm IST. Additional coverage will be accessible on the NASA+ and SpaceX platforms. Depending on recovery activities and weather, the splashdown timeframe may have a margin window of approximately one hour.

As the first ISS trip for astronauts from India, Poland, and Hungary, the Axiom-4 mission, led by Peggy Whitson and comprising Shubhanshu Shukla, Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski (Poland), and Tibor Kapu (Hungary), represents a significant milestone. The group carried out more than 60 outreach initiatives and scientific investigations throughout their 18-day trip.
