“In his private letter, Prime Minister Modi stated that millions of Muslims throughout all of India celebrate the holy festival of Eid al-Adha. It serves as a reminder of the virtues of selflessness, empathy, and brotherhood that are fundamental to achieving the peaceful, inclusive world that we all strive for, according to the Indian Embassy in Kuwait.

On the occasion of the holy festival of Eid al-Adha, PM Modi sent wishes to Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh on Wednesday.

He expressed faith that the holy event would deepen ties between Bangladeshis and Indians.

The Festival of Sacrifice, commonly known as Eid-al-Adha, is a significant religious and cultural event for Muslims all around the world. It occurs on the tenth day of the last month of the Islamic calendar, Dhu’l Hijjah.
