The SpaDeX satellite was successfully launched into a precise orbit by ISRO. One week following the launch is when the real docking demonstration is anticipated to occur. According to the ISRO Chairman’s post-launch remarks, this activity is scheduled to start on January 7, 2025.

When several rocket launches are necessary to accomplish shared mission objectives, in-space docking technology becomes crucial.
