Director General Nitin Agrawal of the Border Security Force (BSF) has emphasised the importance of working closely with the Army to fortify the anti-infiltration grid along the Line of Control (LoC).

Agrawal made this statement during a meeting at the Force’s Frontier Headquarters in Humhama, which is located outside of Srinagar.

According to a Force spokesman, on April 11 and 12, the BSF DG visited the Kashmir Frontier with Special Director General (DG) of the BSF’s Western Command in Chandigarh, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, to assess the security situation and the force’s operational readiness along the LoC as well as for the general election.
