During his recent official visit to the United Arab Emirates from January 27 to 29, 2025, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cordial greetings were passed along by Jaishankar during this meeting. He conveyed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with the President and emphasized the talks that focused on the development of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the UAE and India.
Jaishankar emphasized the value of ongoing cooperation and conveyed gratitude for President Al Nahyan’s advice on how this partnership should develop going forward. He discussed the current developments in bilateral ties, which have been reinforced by high-level meetings and collaboration in a number of fields.
Jaishankar also met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, earlier in his visit. During their meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen their bilateral relationship and recollected past exchanges, such as the Crown Prince’s trip to India.
