According to a spokesperson for the airline, both nations’ relevant authorities were alerted before the IndiGo flight entered Pakistani airspace, and Jammu and Lahore ATCs successfully coordinated the flight’s diversion.

According to sources, the aeroplane was scheduled to land at Jammu airport but was diverted to Amritsar due to inclement weather.

The jet did, however, safely land in Amritsar after briefly entering Pakistani territory, according to the authority.
