During his recent visit to India, Israeli Economy Minister Nir Barkat urged for more flight alternatives and improved connectivity between India and Israel. Stronger business links and more cooperation between the two countries are the goals of this project, especially in areas like innovation and technology. Barkat underlined that better air connections will promote deeper people-to-people relationships, which are crucial for strengthening bilateral ties, in addition to increasing trade.
Barkat emphasized the value of combining Israel’s inventive capabilities with India’s sizable market and labor during talks with Indian authorities, notably Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Science and Technology. In order to provide scalable solutions, he recommended that strategic pilot projects be created in fields like artificial intelligence and quantum technology.
