In Khuzdar, Pakistan, a vehicle bomb blast targeting a passenger bus has left at least two persons dead and seven others injured. The incident happened on January 26, 2025, around 25 kilometres from Khuzdar City, next to the M-8 Highway. An improvised explosive device (IED) concealed in a parked car along the road caused the explosion, which hit the bus as it was making its way from Khuzdar to Rawalpindi.
For medical care, the injured—including the bus conductor, who is reportedly in severe condition—were sent to the Khuzdar Trauma Centre. Police and Frontier Corps officers were among the security forces that cordoned off the area to undertake investigations after the explosion.
