On December 15, 2024, India and Malaysia successfully wrapped off the Harimau Shakti 2024 military drill in Bentong Camp in Malaysia. The joint exercise, which started on December 2, 2024, and was intended to improve military collaboration between the two countries, entered its fourth iteration.
78 members of the MAHAR Regiment made up the Indian contingent, and 123 members of the Royal Malaysian Regiment represented Malaysia.
