In Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi meets with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake of Sri Lanka.

As his first foreign tour since assuming office, Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s recent visit to India represents a key diplomatic engagement.

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan was among the Indian authorities who greeted Dissanayake with open arms when he arrived in New Delhi on December 15, 2024. Shortly after their meeting started, the two leaders started talking.
