On December 3, 2024, the second India-UK 2+2 Foreign and Defence Dialogue was held in New Delhi. After the first discussion on October 16, 2023, this meeting focuses on the growing strategic alliance between India and the UK.
In order to strengthen the promises established at earlier high-level meetings, the talks sought to improve collaboration in a number of areas, including commerce, technology, and defense.
Senior officials from the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Defence co-chaired the Indian delegation, while the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the Ministry of Defence were represented on the UK mission.
