The Indian Army will display indigenous weapons at the Republic Day Parade from Pinaka to BrahMos.

On January 26, 2025, the Indian Army will make a big show of its homegrown weapons at the Republic Day parade. A variety of cutting-edge systems that demonstrate India’s dedication to independence in defense technology will be on display this year.

India and Russia worked together to develop this missile, which is well known for its accuracy and speed. It will highlight India’s progress in missile technology and be one of the primary attractions.

Targeting adversaries up to 45 kilometers away, the upgraded Pinaka system demonstrates notable advancements in artillery capabilities. An important turning point in India’s defense exports has been reached with the successful export of this system.

This radar system, which was created by Bharat Electronics Ltd. and the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), is intended to improve the operational efficacy of the Indian Army by detecting enemy mortars and artillery.

These missiles enhance the Army’s anti-tank capabilities by effectively countering armored threats.

The LCH will highlight India’s domestic aviation capabilities by showcasing its adaptability and combat readiness.

This system demonstrates improvements in military mobility and logistics by enabling the quick deployment of troops and equipment over obstacles.

In addition to showcasing India’s technological prowess, the Republic Day parade’s emphasis on domestically produced weaponry systems signals a strategic shift towards defense production self-sufficiency. This is in line with the larger “Atmanirbhar Bharat” campaign, which aims to lessen reliance on imported military hardware.

The forthcoming parade is anticipated to be a momentous occasion, demonstrating not only India’s military power but also its developing defense technology capabilities and dedication to bolstering national security via domestic innovation.
