Minister of State (MoS) Kirti Vardhan Singh highlighted the possibility of greater cooperation between Saudi Arabia and India in higher education on February 5, 2025.
“Happy to give the keynote address at the 1st India-Arab Universities’ Presidents’ Conference held today in New Delhi,” he wrote in a post on X. emphasized how India and the Arab nations have a close working relationship and how this two-day conference will deepen that collaboration in the field of higher education.”
The Ministry of External Affairs, in partnership with the League of Arab States, University Grants Commission, and Association of Arab Universities, organized the first India Arab Universities’ Presidents’ Conference, which took place in Delhi on Wednesday.
The event was announced by the Ministry of External Affairs’ Official Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal. At the conference, which was opened by Kirti Vardhan Singh, Union Minister of State for External Affairs, participants shared their thoughts on higher education.
The goal of the conference was to improve India-Arab cooperation. The conference, which provided a forum for the exchange of ideas in higher education, was attended by representatives from Indian universities and delegates from Arab nations.
In addition to highlighting the close ties between India and the Arab world, Kirti Vardhan Singh said he thought the two-day conference would deepen already-existing collaboration in higher education.
During the first India-Arab Universities’ Presidents’ Conference, where concepts in higher education were discussed, Singh made this statement. In an effort to improve relations, Singh opened the two-day conference.
