With the launch of the Rafale and TEJAS aerial displays, Aero India 2025 begins in Bangalore.

Today, February 10, marks the start of Asia’s premier aerospace show, Aero India 2025, which will take place at Bengaluru’s Yelahanka Air Force Station until February 14. The event will feature a variety of cutting-edge aircraft, such as Russia’s Su-57 and the United States’ F-35 Lightning II.

The 15th edition of Aero India was launched by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who highlighted India’s resilience and strength in the aerospace industry.

International aerobatic squads and the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran and Sarang teams are among the aerial displays available to spectators. The Russian Su-57 and the US Air Force’s F-35 fifth-generation fighter aircraft are participating in the exhibition.

With more than 275 exhibits spread across five zones in a dedicated India Pavilion, the event showcases India’s expanding capabilities in the global aerospace arena. Indian defense behemoths Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) are exhibiting their most recent inventions, such as the Advanced Light Helicopter (Dhruv) and the domestic Light Combat Aircraft (Tejas).

Air Force Chief Marshal AP Singh and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi made a historic flight together in the local Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) TEJAS prior to the event.

In Bengaluru, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast mostly clear skies for the duration of the week.

From February 10 to 14, Bangalore Traffic Police enforced traffic restrictions and detours. It was recommended that attendees use public transportation, arrive early, and have valid identification. Daily hours for the exhibition are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with morning and afternoon air shows.

A Defence Ministers’ Conclave for talks on international security and defence collaborations is part of the event. Business travelers are allowed to use the first three days (February 10–12).
