DRDO Introduces Vikram VT-21: India’s New Armored Warfare Era

The ceremonial flag-off of the Defence Research and Development Organization’s Advanced Armoured Platform in Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra, marked an important milestone.

The Vikram VT-21 series was officially introduced at the occasion, which was chaired by DRDO Chairman Samir V Kamat. This new generation of wheeled and tracked armored vehicles is a significant advancement in India’s domestic defense capability.

By offering improved mobility, protection, and firepower across a variety of terrains, the Vikram VT-21 platforms are intended to improve the armed services’ operational readiness.
