Safran and Maini Precision Collaborate on LEAP Engine Assembly

Maini Precision Products Limited (MPPL), a division of Raymond Limited, and French engine maker Safran Aircraft Engines have signed a major five-year contract for the delivery of machined assemblies for CFM LEAP engine combustors, which power single-aisle mainline commercial planes.

This partnership is strengthened by the new contract, which gives MPPL the responsibility of producing intricate machined assemblies especially for LEAP engine combustors, a vital part of contemporary commercial aircraft.

The collaboration highlights how India’s aircraft manufacturing industry is becoming more and more integrated into the global supply chain. Additionally, it is in line with Safran’s continuous “Make in India” campaign, which aims to boost domestic production capacities and facilitate the expansion of LEAP engine production to satisfy the expanding needs of the aviation industry. Based on a track record of dependable delivery and operational excellence, Safran has faith in MPPL’s abilities, and this new arrangement is anticipated to strengthen Safran’s industrial foundation in India even further.

Known for its proficiency in high-precision aircraft components, MPPL is a prominent Indian precision engineering firm with a sizable export presence. The partnership not only shows how competitive Indian manufacturers are on a global scale, but it also shows how the nation is becoming a more important strategic partner in cutting-edge aerospace projects.

In addition to demonstrating the maturity of India’s aerospace industry and its crucial role in the developing global supply chain for next-generation aircraft engines, the Safran-MPPL agreement is evidence of the growing relationships between Indian manufacturers and global aerospace leaders.
