According to EAM Jaishankar, “India and France View Each Other As Important Poles In A Multipolar World.”

The importance of the relationship between France and India was underlined by External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, who described both countries as crucial poles in a multipolar world. This statement was made during a recent event where he highlighted the developing ties between India and France, characterizing them as a cornerstone of international cooperation.

According to Jaishankar, both nations see one another as crucial allies in negotiating the intricacies of world affairs, especially in view of the shifting balance of power. In addition to being strategic, he said, this alliance reflects common values and interests across a range of domains, such as trade, cultural exchanges, and military.

We have the confidence to take those stances because of our history and legacy, which is why you hear France and India discuss how we view the world in our own manner rather than necessarily in terms of how others might like to describe it. Therefore, when we expand our cultural cooperation, we are also fostering a specific type of relationship that we think will lead to a new, more democratic global governance,” Jaishankar stated.

The minister’s comments demonstrate their dedication to a multipolar world order that fosters stability and cooperation among varied states at a time when both countries are seeking to strengthen their cooperation on international issues.
