During the multinational exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024, the Indian Navy P81 aircraft is participating in a military exercise at Joint Base Pearl Harbour in the United States.
The US military installation Joint Base Pearl Harbour-Hickam (JBPHH) is located on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.

Indian stealth frigate with multiple roles Last month, on June 29, the INS Shivalik, a mission stationed in the North Pacific and South China Seas, arrived in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, to participate in the 29th Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise, the biggest naval drill in the world.
Following the conclusion of JIMEX 24, a bilateral exercise between Japan and India, INS Shivalik steamed into Pearl Harbor on Thursday.
“In order to take part in the 29th iteration of Exercise Rim of the Pacific #RIMPAC24, the Indian Navy’s indigenous stealth frigate #INSShivalik has arrived in Pearl Harbour, Hawaii. The Indian Navy wrote on X that the Harbour Phase, which runs from June 27 to July 7, will include team-building exercises, insightful workshops, professional interactions, and cross-deck visits.
During the first two of the three sub-phases of the sea phase of RIMPAC-24, ships will participate in basic and advanced level integration exercises.
With more than six weeks of rigorous training and operations, RIMPAC-24 aims to improve confidence and interoperability between friendly foreign fleets. Currently, some 29 nations are taking part in the multifaceted exercise, which is being led by the US Navy.
