With its successful testing in a lake environment, the Naval Science and Technological Laboratory’s (NSTL) High Endurance Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) has reached a major milestone.
Through several runs during the trials, the vehicle showed remarkable dynamics in both surface and submerged environments. Its sophisticated sonar systems and communication modules operated faultlessly, confirming both its operational and design capabilities.
