The Union Budget 2025 has been hailed by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who called it “forward-looking, employment-centric, and growth-oriented.”
In a social media message, he congratulated Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on the budget presentation and offered his support, saying he thinks it will boost economic growth and generate employment.
The budget prioritizes a number of areas, including as digitalization, infrastructure, healthcare, and agriculture, with the goal of promoting factor market reforms and general economic consumption.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of a developed India by 2047 is in line with this strategy. The government’s larger plan to promote national development through focused fiscal policies that give employment creation and sustainable growth top priority is reflected in Jaishankar’s support.
