Speaking to a distinguished audience at the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex on Monday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasised the overwhelming success of India’s Operation Sindoor.
Singh said the operation, which was started in May in direct response to the terror attack in Pahalgam, has achieved all of its strategic goals. Beyond its tactical successes, he emphasized, Operation Sindoor was successful in “injecting fear” into terrorists’ heads, sending a powerful message about India’s ability and will to combat terrorism.
‘Wings to Our Hopes, Volume 2’, a carefully curated collection of 51 speeches made by President Droupadi Murmu during her second year in office, was released at the ceremony where the defense minister made his remarks.
Singh commended the President’s addresses and said the book, which documents India’s changing conversation on governance, inclusivity, and national aspirations, is an essential tool for determining the country’s future. Singh emphasized the government’s dedication to national security and its proactive approach against threats to peace and stability by bringing up Operation Sindoor.
In addition to honoring the President’s vision, the occasion reinforced the country’s resolve to fight terrorism in all of its manifestations.
