MP CM Meets with the President of the Arab Parliament to Launch His Investment Drive in Dubai

During a high-profile meeting with Mohammad Al Yamahi, President of the Arab Parliament, which represents 22 Gulf nations, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Jordan, on July 13, 2025, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav formally launched his investment push in Dubai.

This meeting’s main goal was to improve Madhya Pradesh’s relations with the Gulf, creating chances for both parties to gain economically and culturally.

CM Yadav talked extensively on collaboration, shared interests, and improving Madhya Pradesh’s relationship with the Arab world during a private lunch attended by both politicians. He congratulated Yamahi on his election as president and outlined Madhya Pradesh’s distinct advantages, including its 90 million people, more than 30% of its land covered by forests, its well-known wildlife (it is known as the “Tiger capital of the world”), and its favorable investment climate.

Yadav highlighted the state’s substantial coal reserves, world-class infrastructure, renewable energy potential (solar, wind, and water), priceless mineral richness, and reputation as the “food bowl of India” due to its extensive output of wheat, millets, and soy. He also promised a welcoming and tailored policy environment for investors while showcasing the state’s handicrafts and artisan talents.

Yadav urged the Arab world to create opportunities for profitable business, cultural, travel, and tourism interactions and advocated for significant partnerships. Yamahi, who had postponed his international trip to make room for the conference, responded by pledging to promote Madhya Pradesh throughout the 22 Arab nations and to fortify trade, commercial, and industry relations.

He invited Yadav and his family to return and offered them a traditional dessert called Umm e Ali in recognition of the important contribution played by the Indian diaspora in the Gulf. Both leaders committed to enhancing Madhya Pradesh’s and the Gulf region’s connection for both people and goods.

This trip to Dubai is a component of CM Yadav’s larger foreign investment campaign, which also includes a planned trip to Spain. The campaign’s goals are to establish Madhya Pradesh as a top global investment destination and generate new job opportunities for the state’s citizens.
